The Sacramento Sheriff's Posse was formed in 1937 and incorporated in 1946. We have continually stood ready to assist our Sheriff's Department at a moment's notice for 85 years - and counting !
The Mission of The Sacramento Sheriff's Posse is to promote and enhance community service by offering equestrian activities through an organization of volunteers and qualified members interested in supporting our law enforcement community.
The Objective of The Sacramento Sheriff's Posse is to represent our Sheriff's Department as approachable, caring and involved in our community and it's residents.
